Shortly after graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi, Sabyasachi Mukherjee established his brand name in 1999. And in 2003 Sabyasachi received major recognition as Grand Winner of the Mercedes Benz Asia Fashion Week, and also in 2001, Sabyasachi won the Femina British Council award for Most Outstanding Young Designer in India.3. Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, torchbearers of the high-end fashion industry, are best remembered for their appealing masterpiece and clothing tradition, which they showcase with European silhouettes. Their style is visually appealing with a contemporary look. In 2012, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla cherished their 25 years in the fashion industry which was established in 1986. As the first Indian fashion designers to have their work presented in Harrods, the duo has made a significant contribution. They create stunning traditional wedding gowns fascinated by the Mughal period, and their design always reflects royalty.4. Tarun Tahiliani Tarun Tahiliani moved to New York in 1991 to study fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Tarun Tahiliani is widely regarded in bridal design and incorporates classical aesthetic appeal into contemporary style. Tarun Tahiliani is known for introducing and popularizing a blend of Indian artisanship and textile lineage. Tarun Tahiliani as well as his wife was the first one to open a multi-designer fashion store in India; later, in 1990, they decided to open the Tahiliani Design studio.5. Ritu Beri Ritu Beri is an Indian fashion designer who, in March 2002, became the chief of the Ready-to-Wear division of the French fashion house Jean-Louis Scherrer. She founded The Luxury League, a non-profit organization, to endorse creative ideas in India's luxury segment. Ritu has also been designated as an advisor to the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), which is part of the Government of India's Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.6. Neeta Lulla Since 1985, Neeta Lulla, an Indian fashion designer, and stylist have been crafting wedding dresses. After actresses Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit donned their designs in the popular Bollywood film Devdas (2002 Hindi film), her brand grew inextricably linked with the industry. Paithani, an ancient tapestry method that blends several threads of different colors and integrates gold and silver threads woven together to produce a dramatic piece of silk, is often used by Neeta Lulla. In February 2016, one of her most well-known Paithani collections was showcased at the Make in India event.7. Manish Arora Manish Arora is noted for his meticulous artisanship, meticulous attention to detail, and mastery of color. His brilliance, however, comes in his ability to blend Indian traditional history with a joyful and contemporary touch. Manish Arora's designs have appeared in a number of high-profile publications, including Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. It all started in 1997 when he founded his first brand name, "Manish Arora", and in 2005, his brand was formally presented for the first time in London Fashion Week, followed by Paris Fashion Week two years later. Manish Arora was invited into the prestigious French Federation of Pret-a-Porter after his creations were a big hit during both the London and Paris fashion weeks.
