Today, as an institution just com-pleted 12 years after the start of UG programme, Amrita School of Phar-macy does not have high claims on alumni positions. However, the alum-ni are placed well in various fields like teaching, industry R&D as well as production and quality control, hospital and retail pharmacy outside India as well as, clinical pharmacists in various leading hospitals in Kera-la. "We have a long way to go. In the coming years, apart from increasing the number of M.Pharm programs and PhD students in the campus, we would be initiating internation-al collaborations with universities to facilitate student/faculty exchange program and facilitate clinical intern-ship for students in other countries where the clinical pharmacy services are well established and accepted," concludes Dr. Sabitha.
