According to the recent Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2019, ISB Hyderabad (Indian School of Business), IIM Bangalore (Indian Institute of Management), IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta have secured positions in the top 50 list. Although the places in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2019 are dominated by the US management schools, where Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School top the chart with the first two positions.
The Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2019, which is dominated by US management schools in top positions, has Stanford Graduate School of Business (US), Harvard Business School (US) and Insead (France/Singapore) in top three ranks. The other B-Schools that feature in the top 10 list are Insead (France and Singapore), University of Pennsylvania in US, Ceibs in China, London Business School in UK, University of Chicago in US, MIT in US, Columbia Business School in US, University of California in US.
Both ISB (ranked 24) and IIM Bangalore (ranked 33rd) have improved their positions compared to the 2018 rankings, while IIM Ahmedabad slipped down 16 positions to 47 in the list. Since last year’s ranking, there has been a big improvement for IIM Calcutta that climbed up 29 positions to secure the 49th place.
