Fujitsu Announces Management Scholarship

Fujitsu announced the availability of a management scholarship for qualified applicantsin 18 countries and regions with a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of full-time work experience, and over 750 points in TOEIC. The scholarship covers the tuition for the Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge offered by Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation.The application deadline is April10, 2015, for the program starting in August 2015.

 

The Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge is a three-and-a-half-month certificate management program that provides continued education for experienced business professionals.Based on Japanese preeminent management scholar, Dr. IkujiroNonaka’s “Knowledge-Creation Theory,” the program cultivates innovative leaders with practical wisdom through the acquisition of a broad spectrum of knowledge, including management theory, liberal arts, and methodology.In addition to seeing successful cases of management in practice through site visits, the participants will also digest the learning through synthesizing and applying into capstone projects.Fujitsu assigns its senior management as advisors to help the participants complete their own projects.

 

Fujitsu established this scholarship program in 1985 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s founding. The scholarship is aimed to provide the opportunity for people from the Asia-Pacific region and Hawaii, to contribute to their home countries by studying management.The scholarship has since been offered to 478 professionals.
