Galgotia University Eco club to celebrate Earth Day
Noida, Uttar Pradesh : Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22, which is observed worldwide to raise awareness on issues of concern on environment, ecosystem and to the mere existence of the planet Earth.
To raise more awareness on the issue, the Eco Club of the Galgotias University, is hosting scores of events on April 21 and April 22, 2014. The events are to be held during the recess. All students from various streams can take part in events, competitions and win prizes and certificates. The idea is to sensitize students to pledge to keep our Earth clean and green.
Eco Club is one of the most active and fully functional clubs of the University, which raises issues of environmental and ecosystem concerns among students through various programmes, skits and events.
