IELTS To Add Online Test Feature

The elite IELTS examination for English language proficiency has introduced new study and migration, which can now be taken on computer. As a part of the process, the British Council announced that the computer delivered IELTS is now available in New Delhi, where the first test is going to be conducted on February 9, 2019. It is a secured connection and will be able to deliver the high class security and operational benefits. However, the paper based examination will stay as of now and the candidates will be able to choose their preference. As an added advantage, the computer based test results will be released within 5-7 days after the test has been commenced.

There is no extra addition in the fee structure. The timing and test content will remain the same for both the options. Candidates, who will be opting for computer medium, will have support materials for their computer based IELTS tests.

Last year, more than 3 million applicants took the high quality test for study, work and migration in the countries like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK and study & work in the US. The key skills that are tested in the examination are Listening, Speaking and writing.
