International Conference On Nanomaterials And Nanotechnology in K.S.Rangasa

Nano Technology is the word which is introduced by K.Eric Drexler in 1980's,In his words that means “Building machines on the scale of molecules”. Nano materials play a major role in science and technology in 21stcentury.Nano Materials size in the range of 1-100 nano meters approx., where it is having at atleast one external dimension. nano particles are often termed ultra particles. These are intentionally produced and designed with very specific properties related to shape, size, surface properties and chemistry, which are reflected in aerosols, colloids, or powders.

This technology is the basic research & development that is happening in the all over world laboratories, which is used mostly in manufacturing process. nano products that are in market today are gradually improved products with smaller components, better performance materials and available at a low cost. This technology has a Glossy future where the companies that will manufacture "nano products" will grow very fast and soon make up the majority of all companies across many industries.

By acknowledging all the pursuits and there Applications of the nano technology, There are multiple research and development centres establishing all over India. One of the most prominent unique and offshore research centres for nano science & technology (CNST) is KSR Educational and Charitable Trust with a diligent faculty and scientists working one accord for modernism under the superiority of Prof. V. Rajendran. The management seeking to emphasize CNST as outstanding research centre for picking up any challenging research in Nano valley for the benefits of the nation and the society. The major projects are from DRDO, DST, BRNS, Nano mission, UGC-DAE CSR and IGCAR. The centre has already signed MoUs with leading research institutes in India and countries such as Germany, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, USA, Portugal, South Africa, Kenya and Mauritius for joint collaborative research work.

Dr.V.Rajendran have organizing many International conferences like NANO-5 and NANO -10 which gave grand success with involvement of more than 600 representatives and from 24 different countries which includes Plenary and Invited Lectures, Panel discussion and Exhibitions. Nobel Laureates Prof. Richard Ernst and Prof. Gruenberg delivered plenary lectures in NANO-10 and MAM-12 respectively. Now NANO -15 is the third conference that is held in the research center. The main target of this conference is to provide an versatile meeting for scientists, Engineers, Technologist and Industrialist engaged in the full spectrum of research, development, application and to discuss the current status and recent developments of these materials. In addition, the conference will provide wonderful chance to review the recent development and technological applications covering wide range of topics. Themes have been selected to accommodate wide range of interests to facilitate interdisciplinary interactions in both academic fields and technology / industry.
