International Masters Events to Be Held in India

Access MastersTour, the series of education events offering a uniquely personalized approach to business school candidates, will return to India, the organizer Advent Group announced today. The events will take place on the following dates:

Hyderabad – 8th November, The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace
Bangalore – 11th November, Shangri-La Hotel Bangalore
New Delhi – 14th November, Le Méridien New Delhi
Mumbai – 18th November, JW Marriott Juhu

“Since the introduction of the Access Masters Tour to the world of postgraduate education events in 2009, it has grown to feature over30 events held all over the world. The One-to-One format enables prospective students to identify the business-related Masters programme that corresponds to their background. Prior to the event, the professional profiles of Masters candidates are carefully evaluated and matched with suitable business schools. The individual meetings conducted with school representatives help each candidate identify the business school programmes that can provide them with the educational experience and career prospects they are looking for.

In addition to the One-to-One meetings with business school representatives, Access Masters Tour presents a new opportunity for event participants who are interested in non-business-related degrees. Attendees will be able to get first-hand information about programmes in fields such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Social Sciences during the Open Fair Session.

The Access Masters Fall 2017 Tour showcases 50leading international business schools and takes place in 19 cities across the world.

Besides the in-person meetings with admission officers, attendees can also participate in roundtable discussions and school presentations, which provide details about the Masters' programmes in business and Strategy, Management and Organisation, Finance and Accounting, as well as Marketing and Communication.

Demand for Masters degree-holders in business-related fields is on the rise all over the world. The brightest hiring prospects are currently reserved for graduates in Management (59% of respondents say they would hire holders of the degree in 2017), Finance (48%) and Accounting (42%), according to a poll by the Graduate Management Admission Council, the organization that administers the GMAT exam.

Confirming the widely-held opinion that postgraduate education enhances career prospects, Advent Group’s 2016 global annual survey reveals that 67% of Masters degree holders benefited from a higher starting salary, a salary increase, or a better first job proposal as a result of their studies.
