The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam for the appointment of candidates in Grade "B" and "C" category posts at various Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices. The exams are administered in 4 stages called Tiers. The first two tiers are carried out online and the next two will be offline exams. Aspirants are expected to qualify each phase of the SSC CGL exam to go on to the next one, before being finally selected. Time Management: You will be given only 60 minutes to complete your paper, so it's important to keep in mind regarding effectively managing the time. Speed and Accuracy: Possessing a good speed and accuracy plays a vital role in the exam. To increase your speed, you are advised to take up an optimum number of mock tests and solve them within the time limit of 50 minutes. Moreover, plan up your daily tasks and assign deadlines to yourself. Make sure you reach those deadlines daily. You can prepare a smart study strategy to accomplish your daily tasks with full concentration and efforts driven in the right direction. Revision: Do not study too much in the last few days, rather revise thoroughly the topics which you already finished studying. Revision will give you a sense of confidence which eventually will boost you to perform better in the exam. This attitude will greatly assist the aspirants in not forgetting or getting confused on topics that you had studied and understood minutely.
Avoid all last minute stress: Often students appearing any competitive examination forgets to carry essential and relevant documents to the exam hall. There are chances you can be not allowed to sit for the exam if any required document is missing. Try to stay organized and make a note of what things should be taken care of before leaving for the examination center. This will keep all last minute panic at bay.
Lastly, make sure that you reach the examination well before time. Many times students, who are appearing for the first time, require some time to get their nerves cool down and get used to the environment so that they perform optimally.
