Taiwan Education Center (TEC) was inaugurated at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay campus in the city of Mumbai on September 22.
The inauguration was held at the Pre-Engineering Transit Building in the IIT Bombay campus. The purpose of the TEC is to boost and enhance the educational collaboration between IIT Bombay and Taiwan.
The chief guest for the event was Taiwan’s representative to India, Chung Kwang-Tien.
The ambassador along with the Director of IIT Bombay professor Devang Khakar, Professor Prasanna Majumdar, Deputy Director (Finance and External Affairs), Professor Rajiv Dusane, Dean (International Relations) Wei Chung Wang, Senior Advisor for the Global Affairs office of National Tsing Hua University, Michael Lin, Director of Taipei World Trade Center and Anita Lee, In charge, Taiwan Eductaion center at IIT Bombay together attended the inauguration.
