Jalandhar: Bollywood’s style- icon actress known for her fashion trends Sonam Kapoor & Pakistan’s super-star Fawad Khan enthralled Lovely Professional University students today at LPU campus. University students from LPU Schools of Fashion Technology, Journalism & Film Production interacted with them specially to know their views on fashion and films. Both of the star-actors spent more than one hour at the campus, and also mesmerized many thousands of students through their scintillating performances & delightful talks. Stars lively performances made students to continue clapping, stamping, shrieking, skipping, singing along with them. Both the heart- throb stars wished students to excel in their lives and also sought students’ fan-faring forever. The charming and charismatic chemistry between the two actors led students to the land of fairy tales.
On asking about fashions among students particularly girls, the ‘fashionista’ of Bollywood Sonam Kapoor said: “Fashions are to be followed which make you look beautiful and handsome and not those which make you look awkward. In wearing, one should not be the needs of the designers and any of the bad examples. One should be easy and very impressive in their attires.” Fawad Khan was spellbound to see the thronging of the campus by thousands of students from 29 states of India and 26 other countries. Being on the same level with the students, Fawad repeatedly used “lovely” and “amazing” words to depict the liveliness at the campus. Being happy amid sea of youth, Fawad said: “I am very happy to be in India particularly among you all here in Jalandhar at LPU.”
Welcoming the great personalities from the world of Indian and Pakistan Cinema, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal wished them all the best for their future projects. Mr Mittal also asked students to follow the hard-working nature of the duo stars.

Bollywood biggie Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor has always made headlines right from the start. She made her debut in Bollywood in the year 2007 and her latest movie is ‘Khoobsurat’. Pakistan’s star actor Fawad is her co-star in this much awaited film. Sonam and Fawad are always praised for their portrayals of spontaneous and spirited characters as per the needs of the film-makers. Film critics know them instinctive and uninhibited in their performances.
