Kerala Introduces new training programme benefiting over 800K students

The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), a government agency, has introduced a new program to assist and advise more than 800,000 students in public schools as they get ready for different college entrance exams. KITE serves as the technological division of the General Education Department in the Kerala government.

According to an official statement on Sunday, the main goal of the initiative is the state's dedication to enhancing educational opportunities and support for students in Science, Humanities, and Commerce fields.

The exclusive website provides free access to login for higher secondary and vocational higher secondary students from government and aided schools. They can access various learning materials like question papers, assignments, and mock tests. These resources will be accessible after the daily live classes start airing on KITE VICTERS channel and two PM eVidya channels exclusively for Kerala from September 30.

It was stated that the program will start with a wide range of topics like Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Political Science, Business Studies, English, and Geography and may include more subjects later.

The statement mentioned that every class will offer chances for self-assessment so students can assess their progress and pinpoint areas needing improvement. It further stated that online tests will be conducted regularly to assist in continuous evaluation and ensure successful learning results.
