CUET UG 2025 Exam Postponed to May 13; New Schedule to Be Announced Soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reported that the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025), will be on May 13 instead of May 8, due to a delay in the release of the CUET exam city intimation slip, sources stated.

The CUET 2025 exam has been delayed and the updated exam schedule will be announced soon on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.

The NTA had earlier scheduled the CUET UG exam on May 8 but the CUET exam city intimation slip, which was supposed to be made available at least 10 days before the date of exam, has not been uploaded to the official website yet.

CUET UG is a nationwide entrance examination for enrolling in undergraduate courses at central, state, and various other participating universities throughout India. Launched in 2022, it quickly emerged as the second biggest entrance examination in India, following NEET UG. 

Any postponement in the CUET exam schedule will affect the UG admission timelines and the academic calendar of universities and colleges that provide UG courses.

Significantly, the NTA began the exam registration process on March 1, allowing candidates 22 days to complete their applications. This year, a historic total of 13 lakh students signed up for the UG entrance exam.
