IIT Delhi Announces Winter Internship 2025 Programme, Apply Now

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has unveiled its Winter Internship Programme 2025 for students enrolled in degree courses at Indian universities. The internship is designed to offer practical research experience with the mentorship of faculty members from IIT Bhubaneswar.

Students registered in any degree course at a recognized educational institution in India can apply. The internship will be available in multiple fields, such as Basic Sciences, Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences, Electrical and Computer Sciences, Infrastructure, Mechanical Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, and Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

The internship will last 3-4 weeks throughout the institute's winter break. Chosen candidates will be acknowledged after successfully finishing the program. Applications should be submitted via the official IIT Bhubaneswar web portal online. Email or offline submissions will not be permitted. The final deadline for applications is November 6, 2025.

Applications will first be screened by the relevant schools or departments and then reviewed by a selection committee. Those chosen for the positions will be informed through email and posted on the official website of the institute. No individual notification will be provided to those who have not been chosen.

Chosen interns will be provided with on-campus housing, depending on availability and payment of related fees. Interns will cover the expenses for food and other facilities. Temporary ID cards will also be provided to grant access to the library, internet, and other facilities of the institute.

Interns may receive extended fellowships from supervisors based on the availability of project funding. Throughout the internship, students will adhere to the institute's rules and regulations. Candidates can visit the official IIT Bhubaneswar website for comprehensive details and to apply online.
