The Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) is a prestigious institution of the University of Delhi which was established in 1987. The institute located in the South Campus of The University of Delhi was one of the first institutions to introduce a three year Honors program in Journalism. The course which was started in 1989 aimed to provide qualified media professionals who would be able to glide through the accelerated face of media growth and development with ease.

also provides a broad view of the contemporary national and international scenario as well. Built in the year 2001 in Bangalore, the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media (IIJNM) offers media
aspirants the opportunity to pursue post graduate courses and become industry ready. The institution offers diplomas in print, web and TV journalism, with unique curricula developed under the guidance of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
