According to a study by the British Council in collaboration with India Design Council in 2016, “From a handful in 2010, the number of design institutions has grown to over 70 by 2016.” On that account being able to choose a right kind of institute in order to achieve one’s desired goal, is also an exhausting task.
Endowed with the title of “Best Designing Institute in Madhya Pradesh”, Rebanta Academy of Design (RAD) is well known for its quality and praiseworthy performance over the years. RAD has been able to establish a niche for itself in the ever-growing scenario of design institutes. The institute aims to fortify and train the learners with a comprehensive range of cognitive and intellectual skills, holistically planned to develop across a wide range of learning experiences. Exposure to intensively designed programs and experiencing hands-on training is also one of the attractions of the institution.

The RAD’s approach to teaching is quite different compared to other institutions, where the initial importance is given to clearing the basic concepts of teaching, gradually moving forward to the main course curriculum.
Owing to its up-to-date curriculum and excellent teaching-learning process, the students of RAD often get the opportunity of pursuing their masters in top most internationally renowned design colleges. On the flipside, personality-grooming classes are an added benefit for the learners that enable them to face interviews and client interaction with sheer confidence. Along with this, daily assessment of every student is performed and the management likewise believes in promoting involvement of parents by organising regular parents-teacher meeting that ensures the increment in quality education. The courses offered by the institution vary from Certificate course in basic digital photography to Advance diploma and diploma in fashion and design simultaneously. Although the course duration is short, the students get exposed to a wide range of course content, which is pivotally designed to stress on to the overall development of the learner. Sanket Chopra, Founder and Director, Rebanta Academy of Design says, “Our programmes are based on the philosophy of learning by doing. Every curriculum stems from that belief. We offer an intensive, handson, total immersion approach to learning.” He further adds, “We believe in creating more of Entrepreneurs therefore we provide them all kinds of help to start their own venture after the completion of their internship. Our students are working in the leading architecture & manufacturing firms of the city and the country.”

The learners are encouraged to attend and undertake market surveys, case studies, entrepreneurship workshops, site visits and National tours, making the programme unique and productive.
In this regards, RAD has witnessed generous extended support of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). A good number of National Brands and Companies have come forward to help the institution in different aspects-from allowing site visits, factory visits to proving demonstrations, conducting workshops to hiring interns.

The institute is committed to provide cent percent internship to students who have attendance and marks above 75 percent. Moreover, various methodologies are adopted to foster the creative aspect of students like workshops, seminars, debates on fashion, software presentations accompanied with regular research work and interaction sessions with the professionals from the industry that maximize the learner’s confidence and dignity to face the real world. The institute affirms in providing individual and personalized attention to each and every learner, resulting to which the ratio between the teachers and the learners is limited. “The faculty members are wonderful and well versed in their respective subjects. It is a treat to study at RAD,” mentions Kanan Patel, an alumni member of the RAD.

The faculty of RAD are professionals who pursued their studies from some of the top-notch institutes like National Institute of Fashion, J.J School of Art Mumbai, and IPS Academy and so on. However, RAD envisions expanding its branches throughout the country, in order to provide viable scopes to economically weak students who are incapable of joining international institutes.
