Industry's Perspective on MBA Graduates
According to a recent study done by the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India, only 10 percent of MBA graduates are employable. This shows the current quality of MBA professionals graduating from over 3000 B-Schools in India and why the corporate organizations have reduced hiring candidates.
Most B-schools\' curriculum is focused on applying general management principles and an elective based methodology which is supposed to provide some understanding of a functional area. However, the reality is that corporate organizations will start asking for far more specialized knowledge that is particular to a specific profession and can only be developed over time.
