The institute believes that students need to have excellent communication skills and therefore provides them with Cambridge ESOL Business English Certifications. Students who enroll for international certifications in Business Administration and Managing Business Performance from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) gain a much deeper insight into the running of the corporate world. The academy has ensured that the students who enroll for the three programs apart from the MBA plus program will be able to get Diplomas ( PGP ~MBA) and Extended Diplomas (PGP(e) ~MBA) in Strategic Management & Leadership Skills from Edexcel, UK's largest awarding body for vocational education and part of Pearson Plc, the world's Largest Education Service company. This helps them to obtain good job much faster than those who do not have the employability enhancement diploma certifications. The institute offers four post graduation programs:
1. MBA (International) - Progression from Strategic Management & Leadership Extended Diploma
The institute offers an International MBA program which is professionally accredited by Edexcel. This program offers students with an opportunity to gain a comprehensive insight into the world of Business Administration and Strategic Management.
2. Post Graduation Program (Extended) in Management with M.B.A
This course aims to create highly skilled individuals that are able to undertake analytical tasks rather than simply knowing about business administration and management.
3. Post Graduation Program in Management with M.B.A
The course lays emphasis on the application and critical understanding of businesses and management techniques.
4. Master in Business Administration Plus (MBA Plus)
The program allows students to specialize in different areas of business administration. They can also earn international certifications in Business Administration and Business Performance Management through this course.
Faculty
While most of the faculty members are recruited as per the Pune University norms, ISMS ensures that the faculty members who teach the international MBA program in Pune fulfill the Edexcel faculty criteria as well. The institute also ensures that faculty members are trained by the Edexcel trainers during their visit twice in ayear for verifications. Various industry stalwarts like Mr. Viral Raval, Vice President and Head of IT for Suzlon Energy, Mr. Dhananjay Lad, the Regional Business Head at Tikona Digital Networks P Ltd and others have been invited to teach the students about the practical business world.
Sports and Recreation
The institute offers sports and recreations facilities including fitness classes to help students ease burn out from rigorous and grueling nature of the academic programs. These classes help students to stay fit physically as well as mentally. Students can also play indoor games such as table tennis, snooker and various others. Students are also encouraged to play cricket, football and other contact sports. To promote this further, the institute organizes tournaments so that students can take an active part in competitive sports.
