The University has faculty members who have published papers in reputed journals such as the ScopusIndex, SCIIndex with high impact factors. Faculty members have also presented papers in National and International Conferences and have delivered invited talks as keynote speakers in reputed institutions/forums and other professional bodies. In as much the University appreciates that the Industry in always in a dynamic and continuously evolving flux, as a State-created Private University, Presidency University is in a position to and has always been able to modify the curriculum in line with the shift of focus of the industry, especially in terms of job opportunities for students. Acknowledging that placement is the logical closure to a student's academic life, Presidency University has Training and Placement, as one of its thrust areas in student management. The University has integrated, industrial internship into the curriculum. Students are required to mandatorily undertake internships in the industry. The first phase is a two-month internship after the student completes 50 percent of his/her academic term.
Industry experts visit the Campus to conduct Pre-Placement Sessions and share their perspectives with the students. The University also conducts Campus Recruitment Training and Placement Aptitude training to make the students ready for the placement drive. In Campus, Off-Campus and Campus-Pooling recruitment-drive trigger the placement process. Majority of the students of the MBA batch of 2015-17 have been placed. In addition to that, academic tie-up enables the student to get an exposure to the international aspects of their domain functioning. Industrial Internships and Early Placements are direct fallout of this Interface. In fact, the University is in discussion with reputed institutions abroad to have a Cultural Exchange of Students between the institutions

Here, admission of international students is handled with due diligence. No effort is spared to attract foreign students," states Nissar Ahmed. The University has laid its focus on modern infrastructure, state of the art laboratories and allied facilities and provision of a congenial and unique academic ambience. Faculty members are dedicated exclusively to take care of the needs and other legal issues of the international students during their stay with the University. "The Hostel facilities are also specially addressed to make their stay comfortable. Organization of events such as the 'International Students Day' adds value to their stay in India," adds Nissar Ahmed.
Today, besides aiming to convert itself into a globally renowned destination for quality yet contemporary higher education, Presidency University has created several action plans. Introduction of more industry required skill-based courses as part of its curriculum and sustained interaction with the Industry and the other premier Academic Institutions in the country and overseas are few to mention.
