RRCE has been moving towards creating powerful educational environments that improve learning, rather than adding more courses that merely transfer knowledge. Understanding the significance of research, RRCE has established a number of research centres. Here in these centres, faculties and students are involved in research activities and encouraged through incubating a number of research works.
"If we equate educational institutions with processes, the students are the inputs, the academic system is the process and the outcome is a better student. The main component required to make a quality product is a good student, and the enablers are the infrastructure facilities and committed, qualified faculty," pinpoints Principal, RRCE, Dr. Balakrishna. In order to ensure that all the faculty members are completely aware about the developments in the education sector, frequent FDPs are conducted on the recent technology development.
"The expert talks, national and international conferences, workshops not only stimulate the intellect process of the students, but also to broaden the horizons of the faculties," adds Balakrishna. The faculties are also encouraged to attend such workshops, conferences, poster presentations, paper presentations held at various colleges to update their knowledge. The institute has established MoUs with various reputed universities across the globe for faculty exchange programs.
