Roots Collegium is a well-known name in the city of Hyderabad. An annual event 'Acubiz' conducted by the institution stands out as a platform for students to further show their individual talents through business plan competition, paper presentation contest, mock stock exchange event and so on.

"Along with promoting entrepreneurship skills and interactive teaching-learning environment, we can't neglect the importance of innovation in business study. Whether it is planning a business strategy for a company you are working with or preparing a blueprint for your own venture, innovation plays a pivotal role," opines Padala. The distinctly talented faculty members always ponder upon the students to develop ideas which are different from others. The students are asked to prepare PPT presentations, develop prototypes, and undertake case studies related to real-life situations and so on.

Once they are done with their assigned tasks, the faculty members are available 24x7 for the students to evaluate and guide them. The institution has also launched an exclusive Roots application where notices, marks and announcements are made available for the members of the institution.

Unfolding International Exposure

With an aim to be in tune with globalization of the industry, Roots Collegium has acquired tie-ups with organizations like the UK based Edexcel and ACCA to offer their global certificate programs along with university curriculum to the students. Not forgetting about the budding entrepreneurs, the institution has also built a tie-up with T-hub, India's largest incubator for startups that often assist the students in mentoring and funding along with a tie-up with Girls in tech, an American NGO that exclusively focus on women personality and entrepreneurial development.
