IIT Delhi, TeamLease Launch AI in Healthcare Online Program

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, alongside the edtech firm TeamLease, has launched a new online executive program focused on AI in Healthcare.
Created for healthcare providers, engineers, data professionals, and med-technology entrepreneurs, this 24-week course prepares participants with forward-looking skills to foster innovation in patient treatment, diagnostics, public health, and hospital management.
The digital program provides both theoretical and practical groundwork in AI for the healthcare sector. Participants acquire practical experience with clinical datasets, investigate hospital data systems, and discover how to create AI models for diagnosis, risk assessment, imaging, and predictive analysis. The cost of the course is Rs 1.20 lakh plus 18 percent GST.

Upon completing the course, students will be equipped for a wide range of career opportunities in the artificial intelligence and healthcare sectors. They can take on roles such as AI/ML Engineers, developing models for diagnostics, disease prediction, and medical imaging.
After completing the course, students can expect a range of employment opportunities across the healthcare and AI sectors. Roles such as Healthcare Data Scientists involve analyzing clinical data to generate insights and predict patient outcomes.

As Clinical AI Researchers, students can contribute to the research and validation of AI tools in real-world healthcare settings. They may also take on the role of Digital Health Consultants, guiding healthcare providers in adopting AI solutions for improved care and efficiency.
Other opportunities include becoming Medical Imaging Analysts, using AI to interpret X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans with greater speed and accuracy. Graduates may also serve as AI Product Managers in the HealthTech sector, overseeing the development and deployment of AI-based healthcare products. Additionally, they can work as Regulatory or Data Governance Specialists, ensuring that AI models comply with healthcare data privacy and regulatory standards.
