ICFAI Law School organizes Global Education Connect
ICFAI Law School, a constituent unit of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education Hyderabad, organized “Global Education Connect” on 2nd February 2026, at its campus, aiming to provide students with valuable insights into global higher education opportunities and international academic pathways.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 200 members from students and faculty.
The event featured an eminent panel of international speakers. Ms. Kimy Moothart, Director, Global Opportunities (GO) Minnesota, University of Minnesota–Twin Cities (USA), discussed study abroad programs and experiential learning opportunities.
Ms. Andrea Willmott, Director, Global New Channels and Markets (Student Recruitment), Coventry University (UK), shared insights on UK higher education and emerging global recruitment trends.
Mr. Ben Waxman, CEO, Intead, representing College of the Canyons, University of Missouri–Kansas City, University of Rhode Island, and Clark University (USA), provided a strategic overview of global admissions and institutional partnerships.
Ms. Blair Thomson, Senior International Officer and Director of Study Abroad, University of Mississippi (USA), elaborated on student mobility and international exchange programs.
Initially Prof. Y. Pratap Reddy, Dean, of ICFAI Law School in his address highlighted the growing importance of global exposure in legal and interdisciplinary education. He emphasized how international collaborations and cross-border learning equip students with a broader perspective and competitive skills for the global market.
This was followed by opening Remarks by Prof. Veena, who set the context for the event and underlined the role of international education in fostering cultural understanding and academic excellence.
An interactive Q&A session allowed students to engage directly with the speakers and clarify queries regarding admissions, scholarships, and career prospects. Mr. Girish and Ms. Preetika representing Gen Next Education threw light on the opportunities ahead.
