IIT Delhi Launches Gen AI Certificate Course under CEP

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi introduced a six-month certificate programme in generative AI under its Continuing Education Programme (CEP). This advanced programme is designed to equip professionals in artificial intelligence.

The certificate programme of IIT Delhi in generative AI will offer advanced AI methodologies, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT and T5. Learners will explore areas like Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and responsible AI deployment.

The last date to apply is February 11 with an application fee of Rs 1,180. Classes will begin from February 15. The course fee for the six-month programme is Rs 1.69 lakh + taxes.

The curriculum covers six specialised modules including, Mathematical Foundations for ML, ML, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI for Text, Generative AI for Vision and Responsible AI.

Learners will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch and TensorFlow while mastering NLP tools like NLTK and spaCy for efficient data processing.

The programme will be delivered through live online interactive sessions in a Direct-to-Device (D2D) format with industry-relevant case studies, simulations, projects and assignments. Learners will also benefit from an exclusive one-day campus immersion at IIT Delhi.
