IIT Madras Launches AI Program to Empower Business Managers

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras in collaboration with an educational startup, eduXLL has introduced a certificate program, AI for managers, aimed at providing managers with essential skills needed to leverage AI for strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and foster business growth in the fast-changing business environment of today.

The three-month AI for Managers program, starting in February, includes 36 hours of interactive online sessions conducted by faculty and industry experts specializing in AI.

Students will examine essential subjects including AI tools and methods, data-informed decision-making, strategic business uses, and the incorporation of AI into business practices to promote growth and innovation, states the press release. Every working professional qualifies for the program. The cost of the program is Rs 29,000 plus GST, including content.

The program will provide attendees with insights into artificial intelligence and its strategic impacts in the business sector. They will acquire the skills to leverage AI for fostering innovation, improving operations, and achieving a competitive advantage.

Furthermore, the certification program will provide participants with the abilities to manage ethical issues and reduce risks linked to AI implementation, promoting responsible and ethical use of AI.
