WINGS - Women Inspiring Growth in STEM Scholarship Program

The WINGS program functions as a dedicated project which promotes gender equality through its initiatives dedicated to STEM fields. The program was established by IIT Bombay Distinguished Alumnus Bharat Desai and Neerja Sethi to support female undergraduate students who study STEM fields at IIT Bombay from the 2026–27 academic years.

Candidates must not receive any other scholarships while they need to maintain a minimum CPI requirement of 6.0. The scholarship provides complete tuition coverage which totals around ₹2, 00,000 each academic year. The application process requires candidates to complete an online interest form which will be accessible until April 15, 2026.
