For the 2012 2014 batches, it has been observed that
one of the IIMs that offer close to 400 seats for management program received 173,866 applications. Of the 173,866 applications received, only 0.25 percent was offered seats in the institute. A similar condition was seen across the remaining 12 IIMs throughout the country. This, however, left many students disheartened as they consider pursuing an MBA degree from the numerous IIMs as a front row seat to a very bright corporate career.

While the survey is conducted on the basis of Nominations received from the institutes, they have been evaluated and shortlisted by a panel of educationalists, HR recruiters, and the HER Editorial team based on the data inputs provided by the institutes.
