Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship
Scholarships of £6,000 are available to new international fee-paying students joining an eligible postgraduate taught master’s degree in the Faculty of Science at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in September 2026.
All postgraduate taught masters offer holders in the Department of Computer Information Sciences, Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Department of Pure & Applied Chemistry and Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences who meet the eligibility criteria will receive the scholarship.
The scholarship will be awarded automatically to eligible students on receipt of deposit payment until 31 July 2026. No separate scholarship application is necessary.
The Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship provides numerous awards worth £6,000, designed to help international students cover tuition fees for a one-year master’s programme. The application deadline is 31 July 2026, and the scholarship is open to new, international (non-EU) fee-paying students enrolling in an on-campus, full-time taught master’s degree starting in September 2026.
Eligible departments include the Department of Computer & Information Sciences, Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Department of Pure & Applied Chemistry, and the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences.
To qualify, applicants must be self-funded, as students receiving full financial sponsorship from governments, embassies, or similar organisations are not eligible.
The scholarship supports a broad range of science-related subjects such as Biochemistry, Biology and Biological Sciences, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Forensic Science, Immunology, Mathematics and Statistics, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, making it a valuable opportunity for international students pursuing advanced studies in scientific disciplines.

This scholarship value is £6,000 and will be deducted from the tuition fees. The scholarship will be awarded automatically to eligible students on receipt of deposit payment until 31 July 2026. No separate scholarship application is necessary.
The scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points. It cannot be used for payment of deposit. Online degrees; postgraduate certificates and postgraduate diplomas are not eligible for these scholarships
Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University Of Strathclyde. The Faculty Of Science’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Appeals will not be considered.
