IIT Gandhinagar JRF Recruitment 2026, Apply Online by Sept 14

IIT Gandhinagar has announced one Junior Research Fellow vacancy with a ₹37,000 monthly stipend. Eligible candidates with relevant computer science or engineering qualifications and a valid GATE score can apply online by September 14, 2026.

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) has invited online applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under its 2026 recruitment drive. The institute released the notification on September 2, 2026, with the application window remaining open until September 14. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the institute’s official website.

The recruitment is being conducted for one contractual JRF vacancy, offering a monthly remuneration of ₹37,000. The position is intended for candidates with academic qualifications in computer science and engineering or related disciplines, along with a valid GATE score.

Candidates holding a master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related areas such as Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science can apply. Bachelor’s degree holders in Computer Science and Engineering or related fields may also be considered if they possess a valid GATE score. Applicants must have secured at least 60 percent or an equivalent grade in graduation and above, while a minimum of 55 percent marks is required in both Class 10 and Class 12.

The selection process will involve shortlisting of eligible applicants followed by a selection test. Candidates are therefore advised to carefully review the prescribed eligibility requirements before submitting their applications.

The online application process began on September 2 and will close on September 14, 2026.
