IIT Roorkee Launches AI Programme for Graduates, Diploma Holders

IIT Roorkee launches a four-month certificate programme in AI-powered business applications for graduates and diploma holders with three years of work experience, focusing on no-code AI, agents and automation.

Building AI-Powered Business Applications is now available as a four-month certificate program at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Roorkee. This four-month program enables professionals to create AI applications in practice with no prior coding knowledge. iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee has launched this program with a strong focus on no-code AI, AI agents, and intelligent workflow automation.

This programme is designed to address the increasing use of artificial intelligence in business and the increasing need for professionals that can deploy such solutions. While companies may adopt the use of AI tools in their daily activities, transforming those tools into useful and scalable solutions proves to be difficult. Therefore, this programme is meant to assist professionals in moving beyond simply using such tools to provide solutions to actual business needs.

The participants get practical experience with more than 15 AI and automation tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Dify, Flowise, n8n, Make and Airtable. The course content includes topics like Generative AI, Agentic AI, responsible AI, AI governance, security and readiness for deployment. Participants will also learn about the use of AI in research, reporting, business processes, collaboration, and decision making.

The programme is designed in such a way that it allows the busy professionals to attend classes through an online live weekend session. This programme includes three-hour classes every Saturday and Sunday, thus enabling the candidates to pursue the course without interrupting their professional activities. The programme does not mandate the candidates to be experienced programmers before joining the programme.

Criteria to join the programme include having a graduate or diploma degree and three years of professional experience. This means that the programme targets mainly professionals who are willing to enhance their skills on the topic of artificial intelligence and learn about new technologies that can be implemented in business operations.

The program fee is ₹1,09,000 without GST. The certificate of completion is awarded to successful participants through an e-Certificate by iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee. The certificate validates the training completed on developing applications for business using AI.
