RIMC Entrance Exam 2026 Registration Ends September 30

RIMC Entrance Exam 2026 registration closes September 30 for Class 8 admission. NTA will conduct the pen-and-paper exam on December 6 across 39 cities.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to close the registration process for the Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Examination (RIMCEE) 2026 on September 30. The examination is being conducted for admission to Class 8 at Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, for the academic term beginning July 2027.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official NTA RIMCEE portal. The regular deadline for submitting the application form is September 30 at 5 pm. Candidates who miss the regular deadline can use the late application window from October 1 to October 7 by paying an additional late fee of ₹500.

RIMC Entrance Exam 2026: Eligibility Criteria: The examination is open to candidates seeking admission to Class 8. For the July 2027 admission term, applicants must be at least 12 years and six months old and not more than 14 years old as on July 1, 2027. Candidates are also required to meet the prescribed educational qualification and should be studying in or have passed Class 7 from a recognised school.

RIMCEE 2026 Exam Pattern: The RIMC entrance examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The written test will include Mathematics, English and General Knowledge. Mathematics and English will contain descriptive questions, while the General Knowledge section will comprise multiple-choice questions. The examination is scheduled for December 6, 2026, and will be conducted across 39 cities in India.

Candidates who qualify the written examination will proceed to the subsequent selection stages as prescribed by RIMC and NTA. After reviewing the details, they can submit the completed application form and download the confirmation page for future reference. RIMC has stated that applications for the December 2026 examination cycle will be completely online through NTA, with no requirement to submit a hard copy of the application form.
