According to a report published by market research agency Statista, the total revenue of the South African education sector was estimated to be $18.33 million in 2022 and is projected to reach $24.26 million by the end of 2026. The acceptance of online education systems has contributed much to the growth of this sector. Educational institutions have made smart usage of technology and have given the students a modern and advanced outlook on learning.

The problem towards the access to quality education is no more a problem for the African youth.Taking a step ahead, BA ISAGO University has considered the global economy and prepared educational programs accordingly for students to provide them with confidence to build a good career. It offers credible, market driven and internationally recognised programmes that prepare learners for the global job market.

BA ISAGO University’s learning curricula are modulated to meet the needs of the labour market of Botswana’s economy in the 21st century.
The University has been recognised as an educational institution of choice for tertiary education, and increasingly winning the trust, respect and confidence of its stakeholders internally and outside the country. “BA ISAGO offers its own home-grown programmes, while others are offered in collaboration with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, ACCA and ICDL”, mentions Dr. Morvyn Ngoni Nyakudya, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research, BA ISAGO University.

The BA ISAGO Story
As a Comprehensive Entrepreneurial Private University, BA ISAGO is the first and demonstrably a towering pioneer in developing and introducing a highly innovative, creative and market-driven curriculum, which responds well to the new dynamics, imperatives and expectations of the 21st Century Economy. BA ISAGO has undoubtedly become a trusted brand, tried and tested over the past two decades of its existence. It continues to earn its stripes, gain public confidence and an increasingly growing reputation of note, in the country and the SADC Region.

In line with being resilient, adaptive and responsive, the University founded the Centre for Open and Distance Education (CODE), as a direct response to the demand for distance learning mode and widening access to higher education. The climate change threat affects everyone globally and Botswana is not resilient to climate change.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a clear global clarion call to action, and BA ISAGO has embraced some of these goals as evidenced by the recent launch of the Climate Change and Entrepreneurship Centre (CCEC)- the first of its kind in Africa.

Directly responding to SDG Goal number 13, the core mandate of the CCEC is research and training, as well as enhancing the University research output through workshops and short courses that stimulate professionaldevelopment on climate change.
"The University has Been recognized As an educational Institution of choice For tertiary education, & increasingly winning The trust, respect & confidence of its Stakeholders internally & outside the country"
BA ISAGO remains very responsive to societal needs. The University recently incepted the Centre for Gender- Based Violence and Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups (GBVEVG). This Centre is an exciting new and noble initiative. It offers programmes that seek to address the challenges associated with fighting the scourge of GBV. The new vision statement of the University seeks to capture the desired spirit of the transformational mandate, positioning and drive. Its mission is very much in tandem with the national goals of creating a knowledge-based economy, especially given the University’s re-aligned strategic focus and orientation on Postgraduate Programmes, innovation, digital transformation and increasingly growing a robust research profile.
