Federal Institute of Science and Technology Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT) is affiliated to Kerala Technological University (KTU), Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Established in 2002, it is counted as one of the top private Engineering Colleges in Kerala owing to the quality it has maintained since its inception.
With the motto "Focus on Excellence", FISAT has been designed and developed to become a 'Centre of Excellence' in professional education. The institute hosts a B.Tech programme in Civil Engineering since the year 2011 with an annual intake of 120. A team of qualified faculty and ample experience is the highlight of the department. M.Tech in Structural Engineering and Construction Management was added in the year 2014 with an intake of 24. The objective of the B.Tech graduate program in Civil Engineering is to provide the students good understanding of civil engineering solutions in a global, societal and environmental context, consistent with the principles of
sustainable development and the aim of M.Tech graduate program in Structural Engineering and Construction Management is to impart advanced knowledge in the field of structural engineering and construction management and make them capable of providing solutions with professional and ethical responsibility.
