In order to address the industry readiness challenge, RVS IMSR has tied up with industry to provide meaningful and relevant MBA specializations. Industry thought leaders come together to discuss with academic experts in charting out the specializations needed, skills required by

graduates and they draft syllabus which is updated once in 6 months. Alongside, industry partners are actively involved in creating content and delivering those in innovative blocks teaching methods," says Dr. K. Senthil Ganesh, Managing Trustee, RVS Educational Trust.

RVS IMSR has collaborated with Finshiksha to deliver Applied Finance specialization course. "Finshiksha is a financial education company founded by IIM Calcutta Alumni which is offering Financial Educational Services for the past 12 years. Like Finshiksha, we identify the appropriate partner, collaborate with them, draft syllabus and deliver content alongside them. As an autonomous institution, RVS IMSR has the provision to change the syllabus, hence, we make use of this advantage so that MBA education stays meaningful and relevant to digital era," says Dr. Ganesh. Industry not only helps in developing the curriculum, but also active participants in exposing the students into work culture of various companies. They guide the students to complete projects allotted by the companies. In respect to finance education, students get to download latest financial reports of the companies, take real-time data and carryout assessment.

RVS IMSR's in-house training and placement support team helps in the process of nourishing the students' corporate competency. They develop the soft skills and communication abilities of the students required for extraordinary performance in the work field. What is more fascinating is RVS IMSR provides outbound training in leadership and team coordination to the students, so that they stay acquainted beforehand. The training and placement support team provides adequate internship training to the students (mandated 2 months internship training) in middle of the first and second year of MBA. The

students get to work as interns in the fields of Business Analytics in different industries, Applied Finance at Finshiksha, Digital Marketing at Trainedge, Logistics and SCM at CII Institute of Logistics, and more.

The internship initiatives by RVS IMSR have proved to fabricate better results and placements for the MBA graduates. "Moreover, the collaborations help to keep our focus on maintaining our MBA education relevant and meaningful to the current era while guiding us on deciding which course we should offer," states Dr. Ganesh. Belonging to the same importance stratum as internship, the faculties play an important role in guiding the students to career endeavors. This ensures that the faculties are positioned with staggering knowledge. Other than this, RVS IMSR concentrates on publishing papers in globally-reputed journals and guiding PhD scholars. The faculties also conduct workshops and conferences and they are also invited to share knowledge in other institutions, which speaks about the proficiency level they have achieved over the years.

Midst of developing exuberant corporate performers, RVS IMSR encourages the students to take up entrepreneurship. The RVS IMSR campus has a student operated enterprise 'Pragathi', which gives the students first-hand experience on entrepreneurship. RVS IMSR's constant improvement enabled their students with stellar placements, for example, 18 students got placed in Extramarks with 12.40 LPA package.

Dr. K. Senthil Ganesh, Managing Trustee
Dr. K. Senthil Ganesh has completed Ph.D in Management from Bharathiar University in 2018, BBA and MBA degrees from Texas A&M University, USA in 1997. He has membership in the Honours Society of Texas A&M University and Financial Management Association, USA. He completed M.Sc (Software Engineering) from the University of Westminster, London in 2004. Dr. Ganesh brings loads of work experience at RVS Group of Institutions as he has worked as Business Application Development experience at Zales Corporation and Senior Consultant experience at Mantel Corp.
