Hamza Rahimtula and renowned music producer, Karthikeyan Sivasankar firmly believe that musical talents are innate, which enhance with regular practices. Both Hamza and Karthikeyan wanted to give a breathing space to students to augment their creativity. After a rigorous search, they found the right place in Hyderabad where no outside disturbance could interrupt the students from learning and practicing music. With a vision to unlock the creative music potential of students, the duo seized the opportunity in November 2018 and established Wind Horse Records Studios (WHR Studios). "Wind Horse Records Studios is equipped with large rooms for recording, music engineering and DJ'ing. Along with that, there is a separate room for live music performance where bands and solo artists come for jamming and can even practice without disturbance," says Karthikeyan Sivasankar, who is also famous as 'Tatsama' in the musical sphere.

WHR Studios has a unique stature of holding 'India's First Record Label Dedicated to Housing Music'. It is a part of Wind Horse Records and offers analog and digital DJ'ing courses, along with courses on electronic music production. Over a very short time, WHR Studios has become the center of learning music where students learn to operate and acquire skills to operate DJ Turntables, DJ CD Players, and DJ software like Traktor with utmost perfection. "Surely, there is a difference between learning music and pursuing an MBA course. While an MBA course instills organizing and managing skills in a student,
learning music totally depends on a student's caliber of how and to what extent a student can attain the state of acquiring practical competence in music. I have been producing music for 13 years and have extensive experience in DJ," shares Karthikeyan. WHR is also recognized for imparting audio engineering and music production courses.

A Learning Ambiance That Amplifies Musical Creativity
In between extracting the hidden musical talents and refining students' skills, WHR Studios has perfected the musical creativity of many students. Along with that, the faculty members evaluate the students based on the quality of their projects and guide them to produce music their way. They have equipped the students with the best possible knowledge and skills on the advanced sound engineering tools for exuberant industrial performance. "Judging the students' music production, we get to know which student can do something really good but at the same time, being unbiased, we encourage everyone to put more efforts into learning to become professional music producers during the learning phase," says Karthikeyan.

By adopting teaching methodologies which focuses on instilling practical skills that are needed for a student to build an exclusive career in the music production industry, WHR Studios has personalized learning sessions with top-class instructors like Ajay Joseph, who has vast experience in DJ'ing and teaching. Ajay leads the DJ teaching and creates expert music producers out of extraordinary students. "As an established musician with great expertise, Ajay is helping the
students to accomplish every goal in music production and audio engineering domain. As a result of his inspiring efforts, the students' works have been a class apart. Moreover, our in-house engineer, Karunakar, who has been in the industry for almost a decade in radio stations and jingle advertisements, is helping to maintain the quality of education," explains Karthikeyan.

WHR Studios is serving a huge part of the music industry by honing the creative skills of the students holistically. Amidst developing the musical and audio technical courses, WHR Studios is on the verge of introducing a fully-fledged degree in audio engineering that would allow the students to work in international platforms like recording studios of BBC One. "We want to create ideal music producers and audio engineers and guide them in reaching the peaks of their respective careers. Already, our degree has helped a lot of students in securing a work position in well-known recording studios and films," states Karthikeyan. Till date, WHR Studios' journey has guided the teachers and students in exponentially rising and enjoyable careers. Now, the entire WHR Studios team is extremely enthralled with the vision to make Indian musical industry a class apart from the rest of the world.
