CUET PG 2026: NTA Urges Aspirants to Register by Jan 14

- CUET PG registration closes January 14, 11:59 PM IST; applications accepted only online via NTA portal exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg for postgraduate admissions.
- Applicants must pay examination fee and download confirmation page; only paid applications accepted, and details cannot be corrected later.
- CUET PG 2026 covers 157 subjects, 90-minute papers, flexible exam city choices, revised centres across India and abroad locations internationally.
All applicants wanting to register for CUET PG should make sure that all requirements for registration have been filled out prior to the closing date of 14th January 11:59 PM IST. The only form of registering for CUET PG is using the Online Registration Facility of the NTA at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.
After completing the registration form, applicants are required to make a payment to cover the cost of the entrance exam and obtain a confirmation page as proof they have submitted their application. NTA will only acknowledge applications that are accompanied by payment of the registration fee.
Thus, all applicants need to check that the information submitted on their application is correct, as there will be no opportunity to make changes to the application once they have paid for their application fee.

A total number of 157 disciplines will be covered in CUET PG 2026, which will consist of 90-minute papers. There will be no change in the format.
The applicants who have not applied for the test so far can register themselves on the official CUET PG website by entering the login details created during the time of registration and entering the personal and academic information to finally complete the fee payment process.
NTA has brought in flexibility in the selection of examination centers, and candidates are allowed to select a maximum of four examination cities in their state of residence. Candidates who have already completed the form are allowed to make corrections in examination cities during the correction period between January 18 and January 20, 2026, according to availability.
This comes after a revision in the number of exam centers to 292 from 312,that will operate in 272 cities in India and 16 in foreign countries. No changes have occurred in the pattern of exams.
