ETS Launches Global Employability Test to Gauge Workforce Skills

ETS, via its Indian subsidiary Wheebox, has revealed the newest version of its Global Employability Test (GET 2025), designed to evaluate workforce preparedness through a multidimensional framework. The exam is created as part of ETS’s wider strategy to expand its evaluation abilities beyond education and into the employment and workforce sector.
GET 2025 is now available for enrollment by academic institutions and training organizations. The exam can be arranged flexibly and conducted completely online, ensuring it is available to a diverse array of learners. The 2025 version was released alongside World Youth Skills Day, highlighting the focus on measurable employment results in the current dynamic job market.
The evaluation was first launched as the Wheebox National Employability Test (WNET) and has evolved over 12 years into a worldwide recognized standard, according to a declaration. According to ETS, it is currently utilized by higher education institutions in various countries. The newest version upholds ETS’s strict standards while enhancing user experience with more efficient delivery and diagnostics.
GET 2025 is a 60-minute, flexible online evaluation aimed at assessing employment preparedness across five fundamental areas. These consist of Cognitive Ability, Communication Skills, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital and Financial Literacy, Essential Functional Knowledge, and Workforce Behavioral Traits.
The flexible format modifies questions according to user answers instantly, delivering a tailored assessment of a candidate's job readiness.

Every participant gets a Candidate Development Report that features live scoring and comparisons with a worldwide peer group. This enables organizations and individuals to pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement through prompt feedback.
The examination is backed by several stakeholders, such as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and the hiring platform Taggd.
These collaborations seek to guarantee that the test stays in sync with contemporary industry demands and can be efficiently scaled across educational and training organizations.
