DRDO Paid Internship 2025: B.E./B.Tech & M.Sc Students Can Apply Now

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications for a six-month paid internship programme at the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL).

The opportunity is available for final-year B.E./B. Tech students and second-year M.Sc students from specific fields. As per the official announcement, the internship will take place at NSTL, Visakhapatnam, and selected individuals will earn a monthly stipend of ₹5,000.

The DRDO Paid Internship 2025 is available for students who meet particular academic and institutional qualifications. Candidates must be registered in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate courses at institutions approved by AICTE or UGC. B.E./B. Tech students must be in their last year and have at least a CGPA of 7.5.

M.Sc candidates majoring in Physics or Chemistry must be in their second year and have obtained a minimum of 75% marks in their first year. Furthermore, the maximum age for candidates is 25 years as of July 20, 2025.

The DRDO internship for 2025 will last for a period of six months. Chosen interns will be given a monthly allowance of ₹5,000, which will be paid in two parts. The internship is set to begin on August 1, 2025, and will take place at the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), DRDO, situated in Visakhapatnam.

A completion certificate will be given to interns only after they successfully finish the entire internship period, which includes an assessment of their project work.
