Gurugram University Targets 100% Placement with Skill Enhancement

Gurugram University held a very important meeting under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Kaushik to improve employability of students. The discussion, focused on the goal of full placement of all students, explored strategies of the next 2025-26 academic year. Discussions centered on deepening industry partnerships, revamping curricula to align with job market demands, and intensifying skill development programs.
During the meeting, Prof. Kaushik highlighted the proactive steps being taken, including the designation of placement coordinators and co-coordinators across various departments. This initiative is designed to personalize guidance and ensure no student is left without a job opportunity. Additionally, deans and department chairpersons contributed valuable insights drawn from their extensive experience, fostering a collaborative approach to placement challenges.
The university's roadmap includes organizing large-scale campus recruitment drives, vibrant job fairs, and comprehensive career guidance sessions. These efforts will be complemented by stronger collaborations with corporate entities, creating a seamless bridge between academia and industry.
"The goal of Gurugram University is not only to provide employment to each student but also to ensure that they perform excellently in industries. For this, training, internships and industry-academic collaboration will be further strengthened," Prof Kaushik said.

Adding expertise to the proceedings was Prof. Meena Sharma, Director of the Central Placement Cell at Punjab University.
