The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has begun its major recruitment campaign for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions in the state which includes 1,672 openings for government school Computer Science teaching positions.
The latest notification enables eligible candidates to submit their online applications for government teaching positions which present a secure career path to individuals who wish to enter the education field.
The official HPSC website which is located at hpsc.gov.in allows interested applicants to submit their online applications until March 9 2026.
The recruitment process allows candidates to apply who fulfill all specified educational requirements and age requirements. The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the upper age limit is 42 years, with relaxation available for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

To qualify for the PGT Computer Science role, candidates must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, such as an M.Sc., MCA, or a BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, with at least 55 % marks.
The candidates need to pass the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or STET examination to meet the eligibility requirements.
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary which starts at ₹47,600 and reaches up to ₹1, 51,100 together with all state government employee benefits and allowances.
