India's push towards being a global superpower has a direct link to the advancements that the country has made in its higher education strata. Indian universities have been growing in popularity among international students from across the globe owing to the quality of education imparted in these institutions. A recent survey shows that 47, 427 foreign students are enrolled in different educational institutions across the country. Indian universities have also made impressive strides in the online education segment and its sits behind the US as the second largest market for E-learning. The yearly increase in the enrolments in Indian universities acts as a testament to the consistent improvements that has happened in the Indian higher education strata.
