COMEDK UGET 2026 Registration Starts Today at 2 PM: Apply Now

Initially, the consortium of medical, engineering and dental colleges based in Karnataka (COMEDK) has initiated online application process for students who hope to gain acceptances into undergraduate engineering programs through the COMEDK member institutes - primarily through the UG Entry test for UG Engineering Programs taking place during the upcoming academic year of 2026/2027.

Starting on Thursday 3rd February 2026 the students were permitted to apply for entrance exams from 2pm until 16th March 2026 via the SEMC website at www.comedk.org as well as upload all documentation necessary for purposes of applying to these specific institutions for consideration into both either an in-state or out of states’ Undergraduate Institution; and receive a registration fee and/or check submitted within the periods described.

The COMEDK UGET 2026 eligibility criteria require candidates to submit proof of completing their 10+2 education or equivalent studies which include Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and at least one of the following subjects Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics, students need to maintain the minimum passing grade established by COMEDK to qualify for merit evaluation.

The test functions as the entrance examination through which students gain admission to engineering programs at member institutions throughout Karnataka and other schools that take part in the test.

The UGET 2026 test conducted by the COMEDK will occur on May 9, 2026, in a CBT format, with all of the test's subjects including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry being based off of the material that is found in Class 11 and 12 classes across the country.

All successful registered candidates are able to access their admit card during the 2 weeks before the test occurs. After completion of testing period, COMEDK will release answer key, test results, and ranking that will be used for centralized online counseling and seat allocation at all the member institutions.

The registration drive provides engineering aspirants an essential chance to obtain seats in established private universities, therefore candidates must finish their application process before the deadline to prevent any problems.
