NEET UG 2026 Updates: NTA Releases Syllabus, Exam Date Soon

The NTA will publish the date for NEET UG 2026 on their website and is likely to hold the test on 3rd May 2026 the first Sunday of the month. Applicants should continue to use this site to review the NEET registration for 2026 which will allow qualified persons to fill out the online application and submit the application fee.

The NEET UG 2026 syllabus has been released by NTA and remains the same as published earlier by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Aspirants should refer to the official website to download and review the syllabus to plan their preparation effectively.

On January 5, 2026, the NTA advised applying candidates to complete and maintain current Essential Documents before submitting an Application including; but not limited to the Aadhaar card, UDID card (for Persons with Disabilities) & Category Certificate. The Aadhaar must contain the applicant's personal details including 'Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Photo, Address, and biometrics (if applicable)'.

For final registration in NEET UG 2026, one must visit the website neet.nta.nic.in and click on “New Registration,” accept the policy, and then provide personal information so as to get a password. Once logged in, one must submit the form, pay registration fees, and finally submit their application.
