TN Opens Online Admission for PG Medical Courses 2025–26

  • Online applications open for MD/MS, Allied Health PG Diploma in Diabetes Education (2025–26).

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research declared that online applications are now open for enrollment in Post Graduate MD/MS courses and the Allied Health Sciences Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes Education for the 2025–26 academic year in Tamil Nadu.

The notification states that admissions will include Government Medical Colleges, Government quota positions in self-financing medical colleges, management quota openings including NRI quota in self-financing medical colleges, and the Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes Education provided by the Tamil Nadu Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College in Salem, which is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai.

The notification was released on Tuesday. Online applications will start at noon on the same day and will stay open until 5 p.m. on September 16. Comprehensive details about eligibility, application processes, and fees can be found on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.

The Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) called for applications for the direct hiring of Assistant Medical Officers (Siddha). The notice, released on September 8, revealed 27 job openings with a pay scale at Level 22, between Rs 56,100 and Rs 2,05,700.

The registration for these positions via the online application began on Tuesday. The final date to submit applications, along with online payments, is September 29. The fee for the examination is set at Rs 500 for applicants from SC, SCA, ST, and DAP categories, while it is Rs 1,000 for all other candidates.

Applications must be submitted via the official MRB website, mrb.tn.gov.in, as any other application method will not be accepted.
