8th National Creativity Aptitude Test opens for Registration

The secret of getting ahead is getting started! NCAT, a national level test, provides the students of higher education institutes an opportunity to compete with the best brains across the country.

The NCAT sensitizes students to the domain of creative thinking by motivating them to read, learn and practice the same. It is designed to assess a student’s creativity quotient and level of achievement motivation and serves as a means to identify those with innate aptitude skills. Thereafter, NCAT further hones their aptitude skills in an appropriate environment through our 1-weekfully sponsored Residential Certificate course on Creativity & Innovation in Delhi, thus enhancing their effectiveness in tackling real-life challenges.

Last year, 100 plus institutes from across 72 cities in India participated in NCAT.

It is a two round competition. In round 1, students have to appear for the exam on their own campus. One faculty member from the same institution becomes the internal NCAT coordinator. The top performing students from each campus are then selected for Round 2, which is held at NCAT centers at three different locations, Delhi, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

We need one faculty as the coordinator for the NCAT. It could be Training & Placement Officer or Dean of Student Welfare or any other faculty. One or more students can also become the Student Coordinator. The Student Coordinator(s) should disseminate the information about NCAT 2019 to other students and assist faculty in the registration process. All communication for the test will be through the Faculty Coordinator only.

The winners will receive cash prizes, residential workshop and the students appearing for 2nd round exam will receive ‘All India Rank Certificate’. Top performing students of round 1 will receive ‘Certificate of Excellence’ and rest of the students will get the ‘Certificate of Participation’.

For participating Institutes, there are two awards. One is ‘Creative Institute Award’ and another is ‘Best Performing Institute (Five year period)’.

The last date for the registration for NCAT 2019 is 28-Jan-2019.
