Indian Navy recruitment notification is out for August 2020 batch. It is regarding the recruitment for Senior Secondary Recruits (Sailor – SSR) and Artificer Apprentice (Sailor – AA). Vacancy Details

Total number of vacant positions for the Sailor SSR (Senior Secondary Recruits) is 2200.

Total number of vacant positions for the Sailor AA (Artificer Apprentice) is 500.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian Navy SSR Eligibility Criteria – Aspiring SSR candidates must have completed class 12 from an MHRD recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and at least chemistry/computer/biology as main subjects.

Indian Navy AA Eligibility Criteria – Aspiring AA candidates must have completed class 12 with Mathematics and Physics and secured at least 60 percent in aggregate. Candidates must have studied at least one of the subjects from Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from an MHRD recognized board.

Age Limit – Candidates should be born between 01-08-2000 to 31-07-2003 (Both dates inclusive).

Indian Navy Selection Procedure And Pay-Scale

The Indian Navy recruitment for SSR and AA is based on the candidates’ performance in the computer-based tests (CBT), Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) and Medical Examination. Pay-Scale ranges between INR 21700 and 69100 for both SSR and AA.
