The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar announced on Thursday that the online submission of application forms for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG - 2023) for admission to Undergraduate Programmes will begin tonight.

Kumar stated on Twitter, "The deadline for application submission is March 12, 2023."

Kumar revealed information about the entrance exam in a series of tweets.

"The City of Examination will be announced on 30 April 2023, and candidates can download their admit cards from the NTA website beginning in the second week of May 2023," he wrote.

Announcement on CUET-UG: Online Submission of Application Form for Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) - 2023] for Admission to Undergraduate Programmes will start tonight. Last date for submission of applications is 12 March 2023.

The examination will be held from 21 May 2023 in 13 languages-English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

“Section 1A - has 13 Indian Languages; Section 1B has 20 other Languages; Section 2 has 27 domain subjects; Section 3 - General Test. A candidate can choose a maximum of 10 subjects from all three Sections,” Kumar’s tweet read.

“Examination will be conducted on multiple days in three shifts, depending on the number of Candidates and Subject choices. Candidates can apply for CUET (UG) - 2023 through the “Online” mode only on the website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in,” he added.
