CUET UG 2026 Deadline Extended: Eligibility & Process

In response to requests from the candidates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to allow more time for the registration of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026. The registration for the CUET UG 2026 was initially scheduled to close on January 30, 2026. However, the online submission of applications is now available until 11:50 pm on February 4, 2026. After that side, time the registration link will be disabled. The extension will also help the candidates who could not complete the fee payment by the deadline due to some issues.

Applicants are allowed to register only through the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. They start by going to the homepage and clicking on the Registration for CUET (UG), 2026 is LIVE! link. After thoroughly reading the instructions, they enter details about themselves, their education, and how to contact them, check and confirm all the information, verify by OTP, select the subjects, examination options, courses, and universities, and finally pay the registration fee.

Upon successful registration, NTA would issue the CUET UG 2026 city intimation slip to the students and subsequently the admit cards a few weeks before the exam (tentatively scheduled between May 1131, 2026, in computer, based mode). The extension offers a last, chance for the aspirants of undergraduate studies who wish to gain admission to central, state, private, and deemed universities in India through CUET scores.

Candidates are recommended to submit their applications well in advance to not only circumvent the technical issues at the eleventh hour but also to make sure their applications are submitted on time. The announcement did not mention any changes made to the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, or other details.
