IIT Bombay Launches ePGD in CSE; Admissions Open for Professionals

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has declared the initiation of its e-Postgraduate Diploma (ePGD) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), an online program crafted to improve the technical skills of professionals and graduates within the sector. Enrollments for the course, which is scheduled to start in June 2025, are currently open.

This ePGD features a comprehensive curriculum consisting of six courses, encompassing subjects such as Advanced Programming, Computing Systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML). This ePGD will conclude with a graduation ceremony on campus, where alumni status will be granted to candidates who successfully finish the program.

The ePGD in CSE is suitable for recent graduates, software developers, IT specialists, data scientists, machine learning experts, engineers, and those with considerable professional experience who aim to solidify their skills with a postgraduate diploma.

To qualify, candidates must possess a BE, BTech, or BS (4 years), or a higher qualification in relevant fields of Computer Science and related disciplines. Applicants from any engineering background with an equivalent qualification may also be evaluated, provided they meet additional qualifying requirements.

IIT Bombay has previously introduced three other ePGD programs that have attracted considerable attention from students throughout India. The newly launched ePGD in Computer Science and Engineering seeks to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications in the industry, equipping professionals to remain competitive in a rapidly changing environment with Technological innovations.
