The institute has also procured a great number of highly valuable online books from Wiley publications and Elsevier in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering and procured on-line access to e-journals and e-books from Elsevier and Springer.

The University of Technology also believes that physical, educational and social extracurricular activities positively affect academic achievements of the participating students. In order to truly empower students, the University Placement Cell also emphasizes on grooming the student completely so tomorrow's new challenges can be dealt with effectively. The cell helps students recognize their skills and shortcomings through a series of tests and workshops. Furthermore, it conducts general workshops for all students so they may develop certain qualities which will aid them in handling personal and career challenges. Leadership skills, problem-solving, career management and self-management are just some of the focus areas of the Placement Cell. The University of Technology trusts that creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution's success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. The Journey Ahead

To fulfill the vision and in line with PM Narendra Modi's initiative of `Make in India' UoT has established Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) and Technology Business Incubator (TBI) ­ a unique platform that facilitates students and peers to the process of product development, business development and entrepreneurship. The IEDC of the University provides a platform to the students and faculty members with innovative ideas for the betterment of the society by providing them with infrastructure to transform their ideas into products and services.
